The President, Digital Bridge Institute, DBI President/CEO, Prof. Mohammed Ajiya on Tuesday, Abuja joined other Managing Directors from Ministries, Departments and Agencies  to cross fertilized ideas at 2022 edition of Lunch Time Seminar organized by the Bureau of Public Service Reform (BPSR)

This year 2022 edition was  tagged: “ The Contribution of Nigerian Port Authority in Enhancing Economic Growth and Ease of Doing Business in Nigeria”

The Director General, BPSR,  Mr Dasuki Arabi in his opening remarks stated that, in line with broader function of conducting research on reform implementation efforts and presenting “Best Practice” models, the  bureau has instituted the ‘Lunch Time Seminar’ series to address topical issues in the public domain so as to encourage cross fertilization of ideas.  He stressed further that, to enhance growth and ease of doing business there’s need to automate the documentation process, payment process, terminal/shipping operations. “If all these process are automated businesses will be made easy” he said.

The BPSR Boss further described the President of DBI as a graduate of e-government master plan of Federal Republic of Nigeria as DBI according to him is  an institute created by the federal government to upskill and upscale Nigeria corporate service in digital processing of work and the e-government master plan.

The guest speaker, Mr. Mohammed Bello-Koko, Managing Director, Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) who delivered a paper on “The Contribution of Nigerian Port Authority in Enhancing Economic Growth and Ease of Doing Business in Nigeria” stated that the contribution of NPA to National Economy has attracted reputable international organizations as technical partners or joint ventures.

The President/CEO was accompanied by the Group Head, Research Innovation and Consultation Mr Paulinus Ugwoke and Temidayo of Public Affairs unit, DBI.
