



The President/CEO of Digital Bridge Institute (DBI), David Daser, has been honored with the 2025 NIICTE VIP Award in recognition of his dedicated service, hard work, and leadership in the ICT and telecommunications sector.
The award was presented to Daser by the Nigerian Institute of ICT Engineers (NIICTE) during a courtesy visit to DBI, on Monday.
Engr. Oluwadara Samuel Oluwalana, National Chairman of NIICTE, led the delegation and presented the award, citing Daser’s contributions to advancing the ICT/telecommunications sector in Nigeria, Africa, and globally.
The visit served as a platform for exploring collaborations aimed at supporting Nigeria’s “Renewed Hope Agenda” through digital infrastructure and technical education.
Discussions focused on key areas, including curriculum development, capacity building, infrastructure support, and developing engineering manpower to drive national transformation.
The meeting also conveyed goodwill from Engr. Ali Alimasuya Rabiu, 35th President of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, emphasizing unity within Nigeria’s engineering community.
The award highlighted Daser’s achievements, while the meeting emphasized future collaborations to drive Nigeria’s digital economy.
