The Digital Bridge Institute (DBI) proudly joined industry leaders, global tech innovators, and key government agencies at the 11th edition of the ICTEL Expo and Conference, held from July 29 to 30, 2025, at the Lagos Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island.

Organized by the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), ICTEL Expo remains one of Africa’s premier platforms for driving digital transformation and technological innovation. This year’s theme, “Leveraging Technology for Innovation and Development in Africa,” emphasized the importance of collaboration in unlocking the continent’s digital potential.

DBI, as an exhibitor at the prestigious event, showcased its expanding role in ICT capacity development and digital skills training across Nigeria. Representing the Institute were Mr. Ikenna Ogbanufe (Learning & Development), Mrs. Geraldine Essien (Business Development & Client Services), and Mr. Israel Baiye (IT Department). The team engaged industry players, highlighted DBI’s training offerings, and explored new partnerships aligned with its mission to bridge the digital divide.

Also in attendance were representatives from the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) and the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), underscoring the event’s national relevance and the shared commitment of stakeholders to Nigeria’s digital transformation.

The Expo featured keynote addresses, panel discussions, live demonstrations, and exhibitions spotlighting emerging technologies and innovative solutions across sectors.

Notable dignitaries included Mr. Tubosun Alake, Hon. Commissioner for Innovation, Science & Technology, Lagos State; Mrs. Tola Odeyemi, Postmaster General, NIPOST; Mr. Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, Director-General/CEO, NITDA; Dr. Aminu Maida, Executive Vice Chairman/CEO, NCC; Engr. Bisoye Coker-Odusote, Director-General/CEO, NIMC; and Mr. Mohamad Darwish, CEO, IHS Nigeria.
