Lagos, Nigeria – March 31, 2025, The Digital Bridge Institute (DBI) Lagos Campus had the distinct honor of hosting the Honourable Minister of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy, Dr. Bosun Tijani, who embarked on a strategic tour of the institution’s expansive facilities. The Honourable Minister was warmly received by the President/CEO of DBI, Mr. David Daser, alongside key stakeholders from the technology and digital innovation ecosystem.
The purpose of this high-profile visit was to explore and harness the vast infrastructure of the DBI Lagos Campus in alignment with the Federal Government’s commitment to youth empowerment, digital transformation, and job creation for Nigerians. Dr. Tijani emphasized the need for technology-driven interventions that would provide employment opportunities, particularly for young Nigerians, and keep them meaningfully engaged.
Recognizing DBI’s strategic positioning as a center for ICT capacity building, the Honourable Minister, in collaboration with DBI’s leadership, extended invitations to leading partners and stakeholders from the tech industry to assess the campus’s facilities. The visit provided a platform for brainstorming on innovative ways to utilize the space and infrastructure to drive skills development, entrepreneurship, and job creation.
Prominent technology CEOs and industry leaders were in attendance to deliberate with Dr. Tijani and Mr. Daser on practical strategies for leveraging DBI’s resources to foster innovation, establish tech hubs, and create employment opportunities.
