Learn2earn and the Digital Bridge Institute (DBI) have launched a strategic partnership aimed at training one million technology developers.

The initiative has already commenced, with 91 participants undergoing a four-month initial training programmed at the DBI Headquarters, Abuja.

The training programmed, which will utilize DBI facilities for the next two years, will focus on equipping participants with skills in digital technology, specifically training them as “full-stack” developers.

Areas of focus include Java Script, Python, PHP, Golang, Ruby on Rails, and C++, as well as specialized courses in Video Games Development, Blockchain & Crypto, Cybersecurity, and AI.

According to Joel Mandong, Head and Coordinator of the Abuja training center, successful candidates will progress from an initial four-week trial to a 24-month intensive fellowship training programmed, culminating in qualification as Mid-Senior Full-Stack Developers.

The programmed is being implemented and funded by Learn2earn.

Mandong stated that Learn2earn is an initiative with a bold vision to empower one million developers through strategic partnerships and hands-on digital skills training.

He explained that the first phase of the programmed, the “Piscine stage,” is an intensive trial period designed to assess participants’ commitment, resilience, and collaborative abilities.

This phase serves as a selection process for the fellowship stage, where successful participants earn while they learn, he added.

The training adopts a peer-to-peer learning model, encouraging interaction, teamwork, and shared problem-solving among participants.

This approach fosters a strong sense of community and enhances practical learning outcomes.
