The University of Ibadan, in partnership with the Digital Bridge Institute, invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission to the professional postgraduate programmes in Business Administration with specialisation in Telecommunications Management under the University of Ibadan School of Business.

The Digital Bridge Institute is an international center for telecommunications and information technology studies established by the Nigerian Communications Commission in 2004. The Institute is an ICT academy Center of Excellence (Africa Region) of the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) and an ICT Sector member of the Commonwealth Telecommunications Organisation (CTO) .

The institute which is  licenced by the Federal Ministry of Education and the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) and currently runs five core ICT programmes in different locations within the country provides first-hand experience and skills to candidates in partnership with global technology companies with the goal of enhancing their competitiveness and employability prospects.

In addition, DBI leverages the relationship with the NCC to provide a unique learning environment for successful candidates to carry out industry case studies and hands-on practical internships on telecommunication and information technology based businesses.

ELIGIBILITY

1. Master of Business Administration (MBA) Telecommunications
   Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University, with minimum of Second Class Honors (Lower Division) in relevant disciplines
   1. HND (Upper Credit) in relevant disciplines plus any Certified Professional qualifications
   2. Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University, with Third Class or Pass, plus Postgraduate Diploma in Telecommunications
   3. HND (Lower Credit) from a recognized Institution, plus Postgraduate Diploma in Telecommunications
2. Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) Management
   1. Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University, with Third Class or Pass.
   2. HND (Lower Credit) from a recognized Institution.

APPLICATION FEES

The application fee for all programmes is N25,000.00. All payments should be made via Remita

Kindly generate the Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) as follows:

• Log in to www.remita.net
• Click on Pay FGN and State Govt.
• Type ‘Digital Bridge Institute’
• Select Type of Service/Purpose being paid for  e.g. tuition fee, form
• Enter Amount and all other details.
• Submit.
• Using RRR generated make payment through any of these channels – any bank branch, internet banking site, digital wallet/remitta profile/remitta cash agent, debit/credit card (mastercard, visa card, verve card & union pay) payment
• Print out the generated payment form

Completed applications with evidence of payment should be submitted to DBI.  Scan copy of same documents can be forwarded to this email: admissions@dbi.edu.ng. Note that the latest date for the receipt of supporting documents is (6 weeks from the date of the publication).  Successful applicants would be notified by email.

NOTE

1. All candidates must satisfy the University of Ibadan matriculation requirements of five credit passes including English at the Ordinary Level (O/L) at one sitting or six credit passes at two sittings; and
2. All applicants will be required to take the English and IT proficiency examination at the University of Ibadan School of Business.
