As one of the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) Academy Training Centres, the Digital Bridge Institute, DBI, has joined other participants at the year 2023 ITU Academy Training Centres (ATC) Global Annual Meeting.
The three-day conference, which started on Tuesday, 17th October and will end on Thursday, 19th October 2023, is held at Varembe Conference Centre, Geneva, Switzerland.
The President/ CEO, of DBI, Prof Muhammed Ajiya, and Group Head, of Research Innovation and Consultancy, Mr Paulinus Ugwoke were part of the participants who came from 14 ITU Academy Training Centres to partake in the meeting.
Also included in the DBI team were a Director of DBI and Commission Secretary, Mr. G. T. Mohammed, and a staff of the Human Capital Development department of the Nigerian Communications Commission, Mr. Illiya Daniel Mabweh who were all sponsored to attend the conference by the NCC
The NCC is being appreciated for sponsorship of the DBI’s President, Prof Muhammed Ajiya, and two members of staff of NCC, Mr. G. T. Mohammed and Mr. Illiya Daniel Mabweh while ITU is being commended for sponsorship of DBI’s Mr. Paulinus Ugwoke.
Among the key objectives of this year’s conference is to strengthen collaboration among centers and between ITU and the centers.
