The Digital Bridge Institute (DBI) joined key stakeholders today at the launch of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) Initiative for Zero-Rated Access to Educational Platforms and Content in Nigeria, held at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja.

Representing DBI at the high-level event were the Director, Special Duties, Ms. Viola Askia-Usoro and the Lead Special Projects/New media, Temidayo Olaloye Babansulaimon.

The initiative marks a significant step towards reducing connectivity and affordability barriers to digital education by enabling more Nigerians to access approved educational platforms and content without data charges, subject to the applicable framework.

For DBI, participation in this initiative further reinforces our commitment to supporting national efforts that leverage technology to expand access to education, digital skills and opportunities for Nigerians
