Makurdi, March 24, 2025 – The President/CEO of the Digital Bridge Institute (DBI), David Daser, has commended the Benue State Government for its visionary commitment to digital transformation. He delivered a goodwill message at the inauguration of the training program for 40,000 State and Local Government Civil Servants on E-Governance Tools and ICT Skills, alongside the launch of the Benue State Government’s Electronic Document Management System (EDMS).
The high-profile event, hosted by the Managing Director of the Benue Digital Infrastructure Company (BDIC), Gbande Hembaor Terwase, was graced by distinguished guests, including the Governor of Benue State, His Excellency Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, as the Special Guest of Honour. Also in attendance were representatives from the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), Galaxy Backbone, and other key ICT stakeholders, as well as notable sons and daughters of Benue State.
In his remarks, Daser stated:
“The digital revolution is not just the future, it is the present. Benue State’s bold initiative to train 40,000 civil servants in e-governance tools marks a significant stride toward a more efficient, transparent, and responsive public service. The launch of the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) will further enhance accountability and seamless service delivery.
DBI is honored to be a partner in this groundbreaking initiative. We commend the Benue State Government, BDIC, and all stakeholders for their unwavering commitment to digital transformation. This milestone sets a commendable example for other states to follow in embracing technology-driven governance.”
