Mr. Usman Malah was born in Geidam Local Government Area of Yobe State. He holds LLB (Honours) Degree from the University of Maiduguri in 1992 and called to Bar in 1993. He also holds Master’s Degree in Business & Commercial Law from Bayero University Kano in 2006. He is happily married with children.
Working Career
He began his working career with the Ministry of Justice, Yobe State as a State Counsel from 1994 – 1995, National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) as a Federal Attorney from 1995 – 2000, Habib Nigeria Bank Ltd (Now Keystone Bank) from 2000 – 2005. He joined the Nigerian Communications Commission in 2005 where he served in various capacities namely; Senior Manager, Code Monitoring and Enforcement (Consumer Affairs Bureau), Special Assistant to the EVC/CEO on Legal Matters, Chief of Staff to the EVC/CEO. He is currently the Director, Human Capital and Administration.
He is a Fellow of the Institute of Corporate Administration (ICA), Member, Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) and Member, International Bar Association (IBA).
