Digital Bridge Facilitated a two-week training for100 youth on Digital Literacy in its Kano Learning Centre. As part of the pillars of the National Digital Economy Policy and Strategy, the training tagged Digital Literacy Training of Youth Across the Country is sponsored by the Nigerian Communication Commission (NCC), being a bid by the Nation’s telecoms regulator to foster the diversification of the Nation’s economy through increased support for the ICT sector. The program aims to harness the youth’s strength and to empower them to be future employers of labor. |

Right Honourable Olusegun Bolanle Gbeleyi, Deputy Speaker of Ogun State between 1999-2003 has been appointed as the Chairman of the Board of the Digital Bridge Institute, (DBI), an International Centre for Information and Communication Technology Studies, under the Nigerian Communications Commission, NCC. Rt. Hon. Olusegun B. Gbeleyi is a trained teacher, excellent administrator, well accomplished journalist, publisher, graduate of Mass Communications in Time-Based Media, and an accomplished digital administrator. Appointed alongside the Chairman are two additional members of the Board: Mr. Reuben Gilbert Omotowa, and Chief Enyi C Enyi.With the addition of these caliber of individuals to the Governing Board, the Board will continue to deliver effectively on its mandate of providing policy direction and guidance to the Management of the Institute to ensure that the DBI achieve its set objectives |
